パウロ・ヨコタ
(Paulo Yokota)
パウロ・ヨコタ氏はブラジル出身の経済学者。サンパウロ大学経済学部の元教授。ブラジル中央銀行総裁、国立土地管理・定住プロジェクト研究所長、技術サービス諮問委員会委員（世界教会評議会、スイス、ジュネーブ）など、これまで多くの政府要職を歴任。また、日本で開催された「つくば万博」ではブラジル政府代表を務め、国務省の招待で米国特別訪問プログラムに参加、JICA奨学金を得て日本を訪問。現在はブラジル日本慈善協会会長、ブラジル日本人移民100周年記念協会副会長を務める。

In this important and interesting meeting held in São Paulo, jointly with the 14th Pan-American Nikkei Convention, the debates started with a superb and stimulating speech of Prof. Kotaro Horisaka.
