トラビス・ラウはジョージア州マリエッタのチャーター高校を卒業し、現在は大学1年生としてUCLAで英語を専攻しています。民族的には中国人ですが、何年も前に日本で経験した文化を振り返る活動として、UCLA日系学生連合のキャンパスで活動しています。作家として、この文化的多様性を利用して文学の探求をさらに刺激し、個人として視野を広げたいと考えています。ここで自分の作品の一部を共有することで、温かく迎えてくれた日系アメリカ人コミュニティに恩返しをしたいと考えています。

When I was three, I left Hong Kong for my global trek. The parents had their shades on, but I had my rose-colored glasses on instead.
