サチ･カネシロ
(Sachi Kaneshiro)
サチ・カネシロは、カリフォルニア州ロサンゼルス郡の都市コヴィナでサチ・タマキとして生まれました。カリフォルニア大学ロサンゼルス校に入学し、国際関係学の学士号を取得しました。1942 年 5 月から 1943 年 1 月までポストン移住センターに、1943 年 1 月から 5 月までハートマウンテン移住センターに収容されました。1984 年に退職するまで、ロサンゼルス郡とハワイ州で 28 年間ソーシャルワーカーとして働きました。このエッセイは、クリエイティブ ライティングのクラスを受講し、ニュース記事に対する反応に関する課題で執筆したものです。
