伊藤 比呂美
(いとう・ひろみ)
伊藤比呂美は現代日本を代表する詩人の一人です。1980年代、性、出産、女性の身体をテーマにした一連の詩集を、斬新かつ率直に書き上げたことから、戦後日本の詩に革命をもたらしたとよく言われています。渡米後は、移住と言語的・文化的疎外の心理的影響に焦点を当てた作品を発表しています。詩集は10冊以上あり、その中には現代詩手帖賞を受賞した『蒼木の空』 、高見順賞を受賞した『かわらあれくさ』などがあります。また、エッセイ集や翻訳も多数出版しています。また、中編小説や小説もいくつかあり、その中には野間文芸賞を受賞した『らにーにゃ』 、萩原朔太郎賞と和泉式部賞を受賞した『棘抜き: 新巣鴨地蔵縁起』などがあります。伊藤の最初の英訳詩集は『かのこ殺し』です。
