アンドレイア・フェレイラは1989年からジャーナリストとして活躍しています。ブラジルの新聞社で働いた後、1999年から2001年まで東京で、2002年から2006年までサンパウロで、Jornal Tudo Bemと雑誌Made in Japanの記者兼編集者を務めました。現在は日本をテーマにした本の編集に携わり、Gambare! Magazineの編集者も務めています。現在はサンパウロ大学で修士課程に在籍しながら、日本におけるブラジルのジャーナリズムに関する論文を執筆中です。
