ルイス・タカノブ・シマブクロ
(Luis Takanobu Shimabukuro)
ルイス・タカノブ・シマブクロは1946年ペルー生まれ。シマブクロ・セイトクの末っ子。農業工学の学位を持ち、ペルーのリマで経営学の修士号を取得。2008年から2012年までアマゾン地域に住み、アマゾン・サンカ（1974年）に収録されている父の自伝をもとに、両親や兄弟の物語を綴った。現在はスペイン語で出版できるよう編集中。本のタイトルは「Descubriendo Amazonia（アマゾン発見）」。

Yamato Taba arrived to Peru in 1921 from Okinawa, Japan, to harvest cotton in the Cañete area, 150 km south from Lima, the capital of Peru.
