  virtuoso ukulele  skills have transformed all previous notions of the ins
 trument’s  potential. Through intimate conversations with Shimabukuro\, 
 the film  reveals the cultural and personal influences that have shaped th
 e man  and the musician.\n\nScreening will be followed by a special holida
 y performance by  Shimabukuro\, a conversation between Shimabukuro and awa
 rd-winning  director Tadashi Nakamura\, and a light reception. This event 
 is  co-presented by JANM\, Angry Asian Man\, First Pond Entertainment\, an
