She is the editor of two publications on the Japanese American experienc e\,&nbsp\;<em>Only What We Could Carry: The Japanese American Internment E xperience\,&nbsp\;</em>and<em>&nbsp\;Unfinished Message: the collected wor ks of Toshio Mori</em>\, and has worked in the publishing industry for alm ost twenty years.
