DESCRIPTION:The Japanese American Museum of San Jose (JAMsj) and Contempora
 ry Arts Theater Scene (CATS)\, in conjunction with the Japanese Cultural C
 enter of Hawai`i\, present the first full-length documentary chronicling t
 he WWII internment of Japanese Americans in Hawai`i.&nbsp\;\n\nWithin 48 h
 ours of Japan&rsquo\;s attack on Pearl Harbor\, Hawai`i authorities arrest
 ed several hundred local residents\, targeting Buddhist priests\, Japanese
  language-school officials\, newspaper editors\, business and community le
 aders. In total\, more than 2\,000 men and women of Japanese ancestry were
  arrested\, detained\, and interned at 13 different confinement sites loca
 ted in Hawai`i. There was no evidence of espionage or sabotage\, and no ch
 arges were ever filed against them. The Untold Story\, produced by the Jap
 anese Cultural Center of Hawai`i\, chronicles their story through oral his
 tories\, documents\, interviews\, and reenactments.&nbsp\;\n\n&ldquo\;Whil
 e people have heard of places like Manzanar and Tule Lake\, the sites wher
 e Japanese Americans were incarcerated on the mainland\, few people are fa
 miliar with places like Honouliuli\, Kalaheo Stockade\, or that Japanese A
 mericans were held at the Kilauea Military Camp during WWII\,&rdquo\; said
