DESCRIPTION:You’ve seen San Jose Taiko play – now it’s your turn! Joi
 n fellow  taiko enthusiasts in learning the basics of SJT’s style in a f
 un and  engaging three-hour workshop. A brief history of taiko is presente
 d\, and  participants learn a song based on fundamental stance\, rhythms\,
  and  technique. No taiko experience is necessary\, but <strong>participan
 ts must be at least 15 years old</strong> and capable of fairly rigorous p
 hysical activity.\n\n<ul><li>Saturday\, May 7 -- 1-4PM\n</li><li>Sunday\, 
 June 12 -- 1-4PM\n</li><li>Sunday\, June 26 -- 10AM-1PM\n</li></ul>\n\nWor
 kshops are $50 per participant. \n\nEnrollment  in each workshop  is limi
 ted to 15 participants and will be filled on a  first-come-first-served ba
 sis.  Preregistration is required.  Public  workshops are a closed event
