Celebrate the cherry blossom season at our annual spring festival showcasing Japanese culture! Try your hand at cultural demos such as tea ceremony, kimono dressing, and crafts. For 2016, we are partnering with the Taiwanese Canadian Cultural Society, so come enjoy inspiring performances including aboriginal dance, folk songs, drums, and much more by artists from diverse cultural backgrounds. You’ll also have the opportunity to peruse our line-up of local vendors and shop for unique accessories, kimonos, jewelry, sweets, and more. If Japanese food is what you’re after, we’ll be offering our popular sell-out Sakura Bento boxed lunches, as well as light tea and sweets.
