A "double feature" sponsored by the Japanese American Historical Society of Southern California. "A Flicker in Eternity" by Anne Kaneko and Sharon Yamato, a documentary, based on archived material at JANM, about the life of Stanley Hayami who died in Europe during WWII. The story is told through his diary and letters. "Out of Infamy: Michi Nishiura Weglyn," produced by filmmaker Sharon Yamato, is a portrait of the civil rights activist whose dynamic personality evolved—via incarceration during World War II in the Gila River, Arizona camp—from California-born farm girl to New York City sophisticate to the Rosa Parks of Japanese Americans.
