Do you have a least one ancestor that survived the Japanese Internment?

If so and you are at least 23-years-old, you are qualified to participate in a research study. Please send an email to tmcdissertation@gmail.com. You will then receive a response with a web link to complete the survey. If you know of others who may be interested, please forward this message to them.

Participation involves completing a questionnaire and should take approximately 17-25 minutes. The questionnaire will ask you questions about your sense of self, anger management, and experience of being a member of your racial or ethnic group. All responses will be kept private and confidential. Any participant that completes the entire study will have a chance to win one of two $100.00 gift certificates. Any identifying information you enter will not be associated with your survey answers.

The purpose of this research is to study the effects of historical events, including the Holocaust, Japanese Internment, American Indian/Native American persecution, and African American slavery on subsequent generations of offspring.

If you have any questions about this study, please feel free to contact Todd Carson at tcarson@alliant.edu. Additionally, my supervisor, Dr. Debra Kawahara, may also be contact with any concern at dkawahara@alliant.edu.

Thank you in advance for your participation.

This research study has been approved by the IRB at Alliant International University.
