Curious about wine?
Join YPC in our demystifying wine series as we focus on California wine and pairing these wines with food. California accounts for close to 90% of all wine production in the USA and, if it were a separate country, it could be the 4th largest wine producer in the world.
We will explore the wonder that is wine, learn a little of the history of wine production and how to taste wines by sampling 6 different California wines with California type fare. We will also see how wines can help enhance or possibly overpower a meal and what to look at when trying to pair wine with food. In each tasting we will sample 3 reds and 3 whites but the meals will vary. In the first tasting we will have chicken taquitos, salad, chips and salsa and in the second tasting we will sample wines while eating pizza, a typical American staple, and salad. Must be over 21.
If you are ready to explore and experiment with both wine and food, then this is the tasting series for you.
