This special evening program will investigate and celebrate the remarkable lives of two Japanese American women, artist Mine Okubo and fashion designer Michi Nishiura Weglyn. Both of these women were imprisoned in the U.S. concentration camps during WWII and both become activists from that experience.

A screening of the documentary short "Out of Infamy: Michi Nishiura Weglyn" will be followed by a panel discussion on the two women.
