DESCRIPTION:On Sunday\, February 17\, 2008\, the Chicago Japanese American 
 Historical Society\, Chicago Japanese American Council\, Japanese American
  Citizens League - Chicago Chapter\, and Japanese American Service Committ
 ee of Chicago will present the annual Day of Remembrance observance\, comm
 emorating the signing of Executive Order 9066.  On the program will be a s
 pecial screening of the award-winning documentary\, "The Cats of Mirikitan
 i\," and a question-and-answer session with director Linda Hattendorf.  \n
 \nThe Day of Remembrance 2008 will be held at the Chicago History Museum (
 1601 N. Clark Street\, Chicago) beginning at 2 pm.  The program will be fr
 ee and open to the public\; however\, those who wish to visit the museum a
 s well will have to pay the usual admission fee.  Validated parking will b
 e available one block north of the museum.\n\nFor further information on t
