Margaret Kasahara's artwork is an exploration of identity formed from an Asian American perspective. Drawing from memory, observation and experiences, she addresses all aspects of her cross-cultural identity and brings together personal, cultural and societal relationships with lighthearted social commentary. Her artwork was recently exhibited at the Colorado Springs Fine Arts Center and the Japanese American National Museum in Los Angeles, California.
