The Nikkei Student Union is also part of the UCLA Asian Pacific Island Coalition, the mother organization of 22 Asian/Pacific-Island student groups. The APC Olympics was held during the Spring quarter to get as many of the 22 groups to come out and represent their organization in a fast paced, competitive field of sports!! Through these games, the Olympics sought to both strengthen the coalition as a whole and to allow the organizations to better know one another. These games included Tug of War, Capture the Flag, Potato Sack Relays, Three-Legged Races, Water Pong/Water Balloon Toss.

And...NSU won! At the end everyone enjoyed a potluck consisting of ethnic foods from each culture.
