 ith pen and marker!&nbsp\; Through demonstrations and individual advice\, 
 an experienced manga artist will introduce some must-have skills for teena
 ge students including handling of tools\, various line techniques and meth
 ods\, crosshatching for shading\, and more.&nbsp\; By the end of the cours
 e\, you will be equipped with new skills to draw manga characters with a m
 ore professional finish.\n\n<strong>Tuition:</strong> $90/$72 Japan Societ
 y Members. <em>Recommended for ages 11-17 year olds.&nbsp\; One student pe
 r registration. Space is limited to 15 students: advanced registration req
 uired.&nbsp\; A recommended materials list will be provided prior to the w
 orkshop.</em>\n<em></em>\n<strong>About Instructor:</strong>&nbsp\; Richar
 d Ford III is a professional artist based in NYC. Inspired by Japanese ani
 me\, manga\, and street art\, Richard works with various mediums\, from di
 gital illustration to traditional paintings\, as well as murals. Richard i
 s excited to share his knowledge and techniques with young artists! Richar
 d received a Bachelor&rsquo\;s of Fine Arts in illustration from Columbia 
 College Chicago.
