These workshops are designed to help students of all writing levels devel op a point of view\, characters\, and a narrative voice to tell their stor ies about their names.&nbsp\;This can include family names\, given names\, and even nicknames!&nbsp\;\n\nPlease join us at our workshops and share y our stories about your name on DiscoverNikkei.org! &nbsp\;\n\n<strong>Date : Saturday\, July 26\, 2014</strong>&nbsp\;\n\n<strong>Time: 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.</strong>&nbsp\;&nbsp\;\n\n<strong>Location: Nikkei National Muse um &amp\; Cultural Centre</strong>&nbsp\;\n\n<strong>Instructor: Tamiko Ni mura</strong>&nbsp\;\n Tamiko Nimura is a Sansei/Pinay writer who grew up in Northern California and now lives in Tacoma\, Washington. She is a regu lar contributor to Discover Nikkei\, <em>Seattle Star</em>\, and the <em>I nternational Examiner</em>. Before her freelance career\, she taught writi ng and literature for ten years.
