 ill bring together members of the Okinawan community  whose lives have bee
 n directly influenced by the Battle of Okinawa and  the broader community 
 at large to explore and share the lessons from the  Battle. Speakers will 
 include Fujiko Dandoy (survivor)\, Noriyoshi  Arakaki (survivor)\, Mitzi U
 ehara Carter (scholar) and Frank Higashi  (Military Intelligence Service v
 eteran). The panel will be moderated by  Professor Ben Kobashigawa. Roundi
 ng out the program will be performances  by musician and exhibition curato
 r Wesley Ueunten\, Ph.D.\, saxophonist  Francis Wong and taiko artist Melo
