 ndation\, Los Angeles and the Japan Korea Society present the <strong>Litt
 le Tokyo Korea Japan Festival</strong> \, a day-long celebration of cultur
 al exchange between neighboring communities.\n \n The closely shared simil
 arities and differences between the cultures of Japan and Korea are explor
 ed in <strong>Tina Yanagimotos</strong> "New Beginnings: Cultural Harmony 
 in Little Tokyo." This documentary chronicles the history of Little Tokyo 
 and how Japanese and Korean residents are building bridges of friendship a
 nd harmony.\n \n Featured films include the Korean award-winning 2008 <em>
 Yeong-hwa-neun yeong-hwa-da (Rough Cut)</em> followed by the 2007 remake o
 f <strong>Akira Kurosawas</strong> <em>Tsubaki Sanjuro (1962)</em> .\n \n 
 This unique program is hosted by <em>Heroes</em> actors <strong>James Kays
 on Lee and Eriko Tamura</strong> . Ticket includes two films\, a box lunch
  and outdoor performances.
