This 30-year tradition celebrates the height of the cherry blossom season the Japanese way: with a mega festival. Families can check out performances by Zakuro Chindon, an all-female marching band, local drumming group Taiko Masala and jazz pianist Kuni Mikami, take part in manga comic drawing workshops, meet Japanese authors and more.
