“ZEN STITCHES” in the Guild Hall is a group show by invitation of the Northern Star Quilters Guild and the Nutmeg Quilters Guild. Various sized quilts with a common theme relating to the Japanese Stroll Garden will be exhibited. “WHERE A BUDDHA WALKED” Hays Gallery. Bibiana Huang Matheis has traveled to China, India and Japan. She focuses her lens towards serenity and creating spaces for us to be at peace. "AKIO OHMORI'S WORLD" Goelet Gallery The metal works of Japanese sculptor Akio Ohmori, have a connection to nature whether they are decorative or utilitarian.
