Group's Mission and Motivation

Ichimi Daiko is a group based out of the San Luis Obispo Buddhist Church

The group's mission and motivation is four-fold:

1. Expose the SLO community to the historic, cultural and musical aspects of taiko
2. Improve the group's technical and artistic abilities
3. Enhance group dynamics through active participation in playing and administrative duties
4. Be mindful of the Buddha dharma and its relationship to all elements of taiko
