Here are some of the mural project initial sketches and ideas. The mural participants met for discussions on the preliminary design for the mural. Many shared first hand experiencences and stories about the internment, concentration camps, relocation to Chicago and life in the 40's. The meeting spawned many ideas and motifs for the mural as well as new friendships. The participants were diverse and inte-rgenrational.
