Shishimai at the annual New Year's event that was held on Jan. 27, 2008.
The event was jointly sponsored by the New Japanese Canadian Association and the Japanese Canadian Cultural Centre and featured traditional Japanese food, Otoso (New Year's sake), Kakizome calligraphy, children's games, and a variety of entertainment for everyone to enjoy.
