I prefer to use ohashi. The whole eating experience is different. Food tastes better when using ohashi. It gives me more freedom in how much I consume per bite. When I use a fork I feel more restricted because there's a larger chunk of food that's stuck on the fork and I have a harder time picking at parts of the food I want to eat.
