This is a Peruvian shortbread cookie with a thin layer of caramel in between two cookie layers. There was powdered sugar generously sprinkled on top. It was very light and yummy!!

I took this photo on August 20, 2007 at the Wakatay Restaurant in Gardena, CA. Our waiter recommended it to us, and we're very glad that he did!
