This is a photo of the ika (squid) being grilled at the Orange County Buddhist Church Obon at the Ika Teriyaki booth. There was a whole group of mostly older men who worked at this booth throughout the weekend. They hung out and took turns grilling the ika on these two barbecue grills. Once cooked, they sliced them up and portioned them into plastic bowls.

I didn't eat any of the ika , but my husband said it was really good. Here's a photo of the actual Ika Teriyaki. I also took some photos of the ika being cooked: body and legs.
