Cycle "2nd Life", VARIOUS Series - Victor Nishio Yasuoka - Lima, Peru

Published: April 11, 2008 Modified: Feb. 11, 2025

There are a few that have no family, no surname or correspondence, perhaps they are vain attempts or unfinished tests of a possible new series of pieces. A few are shown, but most, which would turn "several" into a series - by volume, are in the trash. ("2nd Life" happened because we all have unwanted but perennial accumulations in immeasurable gaps... interesting phrase, which was the trigger to create my proposal: living piles that feed on dust and fungi + piles of household waste older than me, thus beginning, in 1998, some failed attempts (and which never saw any exhibition) of carving, fretwork, painting and sculpting in different materials and surfaces abandoned everywhere... www.cajoncreativo.com)
