Japanese immigration ships in Brazil

Published: July 24, 2007 Modified: Feb. 26, 2025

For decades, Japanese immigration to Brazil was carried out by sea, a two-month journey to distant Brazil. In this collection, the Historical Museum of Japanese Immigration in Brazil displays its collection of photographs of the ships that crossed oceans to bring people from Japan to Brazil. The images in this collection are part of the collection of the Historical Museum of Japanese Immigration in Brazil. The use of this image is prohibited without written permission from the Historical Museum of Japanese Immigration in Brazil. For more information, contact: mhijb@nethall.com.br
