(Balcony (Japanese Pavilion of Ibirapuera Park - balcony))

Balcony overlooking the pavilion's koi pond. Practically everyone who attended the event was able to admire the multicolored beauty of these fish, a symbol of strength -- View from the balcony overlooking the koi pond at the Japanese pavilion in Ibirapuera Park in São Paulo. Built in 1954, it was conceived as a gift from the Japanese community to Brazilian society during the festivities of the fourth centenary of the city of São Paulo held that year. One of the zeniths of Ibirapuera Park, originally built in Japan and brought to Brazil by ship, its construction mobilized the entire Japanese community at the time; today the pavilion is one of the great symbols of the Japanese-Brazilian community.
