Marjorie Hunt is Discover Nikkei’s Community Engagement Specialist. She holds a master’s degree in history, with a focus on cultural geography of colonial Latin America. Marjorie earned a B.A. in American Studies and Hispanic Literatures and Cultures at Wesleyan University, and is fluent in Spanish and Portuguese. In her free time, she volunteers as a Court-Appointed Special Advocate for foster youth. She enjoys creative outlets like writing poetry and making music.
