Beyond the many dead\, the survivors have endured phys ical and spiritual pain to this day. Japanese Americans then living in Hir oshima and Nagasaki who survived are a part of this vital story. In additi on to photographs\, explanatory texts\, and artifacts\, <em>Under a Mushr oom Cloud</em> includes contemporary art that provides an array of perspe ctives on the effects of the atomic bombs and their impact today.
