CAAMFest San Jose presents films and events reflecting the impact and influence of Asian Americans in Silicon Valley and their continuous innovation in technology\, arts an d culture\, media\, and community.\n\nJAMsj will screen a selection of epi sodes from&nbsp\;<em>Lucky Chow</em> \, a six-part PBS series\, which fol lows LuckyRice founder Danielle Chang as she travels across America\, exp loring the Asian food landscape. Episodes include &ldquo\;Ramen Mania\,&r dquo\; featuring the ramen craze that has swept the country\, and &ldquo\ ;Bay Area&rsquo\;s Pacific Rim Cuisine\,&rdquo\; highlighting local culin ary purveyors.&nbsp\;\n\nWe are looking forward to having Donald Young\, p roducer of <em>Lucky Chow</em> \, in attendance. In addition\, the <a href ="http://www.kushiyakikuishinbo.com/" target="_blank">Kushi Yaki Kuishinbo </a> food truck\, local purveyor of typical Japanese street food\, will be present after the show to offer its food items for sale.\n\n<em><strong>D ONALD YOUNG</strong> \, director of programs for CAAM\, oversees its prog ram area. In this capacity\, he develops and implements CAAM&rsquo\;s nat ional productions and PBS strategies. In public television\, Young has su pervised the national broadcasts of more than 150 award-winning projects. As a producer\, he has worked on both documentaries and independent feat ure films. His most recent productions include documentaries on ukulele v irtuoso Jake Shimabukuro and former Louisiana U.S. Congressman Anh &ldquo \;Joseph&rdquo\; Cao.
