The Parkinson's Support Group - monthly meeting at Union Church of L.A.

April is Parkinson's Awareness Month

We are honored to have as our guest speaker and presenter Dr. Emily Tamadonfar who is practicing at USC Keck Hospital. She is a Board certified neurologist specializing in movement disorders, Dystonia, Tremor and Ataxia.

She has expertise in botulism toxin injections, for movement disorders and deep brain stimulation for Parkinson's Disease, also Essential Tremor and Dystonia. Dr. Tamadonfar serves as an on-site primary investigator for several treatments and trials for P. D. and E.T. In addition she has special interest and training in Clinician and Resident Education and Research. In her educational role she serves as the movement disorder fellowship co- director. Dr.Tamadonfar's research and teaching serve her patient centered approach to clinical work that relies upon well-informed patients about this disease and treatment strategies. This ensures greater patient participation

Union Church welcome the community, members, friends, and caregivers. All are welcome.

Meeting is April 26th Saturday from 10am to 12 noon. at the Union Church of L.A. No admission fee or membership is required. Free on-site parking. Snacks served.
