Kintsukuroi Film Screening at Nippon Kan Theatre

Join us for the first ever screenings of KINTSUKUROI by Ikeibi Films in Seattle!
This film tells the story of two families from California on their journeys as they are forced to leave their homes and taken to the concentration camps. Some of the families' members eventually find themselves on the European battlefront to join the war effort as part of the now legendary 442nd Regimental Combat Team, composed almost entirely of Nisei and the most decorated unit in U.S. military history.
The screening will be followed by a Q & A session with members of the cast and crew, including director & writer Kerwin Berk, producer Samantha Takizawa, and actor David Kiyoshi Tom (Mr. Ibata), who also happens to be a UW alumnus!
