The Bowers Museum in Santa Ana, CA, will be presenting a Virtual Cherry Blossom Festival on Sunday, April 25 from 11am-12pm (PDT), livestreamed on Facebook and YouTube.

Celebrate the bloom of spring with art, music and dance. Learn how to create a Bonsai tree, fold paper into an origami shape, and design an Ikebana Floral arrangement.

Featuring performers, artmaking, and food recipes!

Performances by:

  • Yu Ooka and Kimo Cornwell, “Yu-Ki Project.”
  • Satsuki Palter, Ikebana Teachers Association of So. Ca.
  • Kofu Bonsai
  • Makoto Taiko
  • Bando Hidesomi, Traditional Japanese Dance
