Hope all is well with everyone during these extraordinary times.

My documentary film Faces of Issei: The First Generation will become available for free public streaming on June 17, 2020 from 12:01 AM to 11:59 PM, 2020 Pacific Daylight Time.  The showing is part of the Japanese American Virtual Memorial Pilgrimage program which runs from June 13 through August 16, 2020.

Faces of Issei: The First Generation

A 1984 documentary film about the first generation Japanese who immigrated to America at the turn of the 20th century.  These pioneering immigrants tell their stories of struggle and triumph in the new land.

(55 minutes.   Japanese with English Narration with Subtitles.  1984.  Digitally remastered and Retitled in 2018.)
