My documentary film Faces of Issei: The First Generation will become available for free public streaming on June 17, 2020 from 12:01 AM to 11:59 PM, 2020 Pacific Daylight Time.  The showing is part of the Japanese American Virtual Memorial Pilgrimage program which runs from June 13 through August 16, 2020.

Faces of Issei: The First Generation

A 1984 documentary film about the first generation Japanese who immigrated to America at the turn of the 20^th century.  These pioneering immigrants tell their stories of struggle and triumph in the new land.

(55 minutes.   Japanese with English Narration with Subtitles.  1984.  Digitally remastered and Retitled in 2018.)
