Sashiko: Japanese Embroidery

At this workshop, learn the traditional Japanese craft of sashiko embroidery with a third generation sashiko craftsman from Gifu, Japan. This beautiful hand-stitching technique is admired for its simple yet striking patterns, and is appreciated for both its practical and decorative applications. Atsushi Futatsuya, founder of Upcycle Stitches LLC, leads this hands-on workshop, open to participants of all skill levels. All materials included.
