Obon Festival - Venice Hongwanji Buddhist Temple

Join Venice Hongwanji Buddhist Temple's obon festival! Come sample VHBT's Adult Buddhist Association’s renowned Teriyaki Chicken plate, or their Buddhist Women’s Association crispy, handmade wontons. The temple's Dharma school will be selling hot dogs & chili rice, and their Jr. YBA will be frying up dangos. The Sangha Teens will be selling drinks and snow cones. Entertainment includes many game booths run by affiliate organizations.

Saturday, 07/15/17 - 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.; Odori: 6:30 p.m.
Sunday. 07/16/17 - 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.; Odori: 6:30 p.m.

There will be a total of five odori practices at the temple:

• June 28 (Wednesday)
• June 30 (Friday)
• July 5 (Wednesday)
• July 7 (Friday)
• July 10 (Monday)

All practices will be held from 7:00PM-8:30PM.
