Join the JAMsj Book Club to discuss and explore Catherine Irwin's "Twice Orphaned, Voices from the Children's Village at Manzanar," the story of nearly one hundred orphaned Japanese American children whose parents died or were unable to care for them. All were interned at Manzanar, Children's Village. The novel tells of their double abandonment-first by their parents and then by their country.
