Cherry Blossom Day at the Capitol

Free and Open to the Public

Activities include Kite flying demonstrations on the Capitol Mall, Children make-your-own kite kits (while supplies last), Japanese Tea Ceremony, Taiko, Bonsai display and demonstration, Coloring Contest, Ikebana display and demonstration, Martial Arts Demonstrations, Gyotaku (fish printing) while supplies last, Cherry samples, Sakura Sakura Photo Exhibit, Salem Cherry and Japanese Heritage Exhibit, Koto music, Japanese dance and chorus performances.
