An inaugural Nisei Week Book Fair will take place on August 15 and 16, 2015, at the Japanese American Cultural and Community Center (JACCC) James Irvine Japanese Garden and Plaza (244 S. San Pedro St., Los Angeles CA) from 11am to 6pm, both Saturday and Sunday. The weekend's line-up will feature twenty-five speakers in thirteen presentations. Please refer to the flyer for schedule, topics and speakers. Authors will sign their books at vendor booths on the plaza. In addition to presenting authors, other authors/illustrators will be on hand to sign their books including cartoonist Stan Sakai. Nisei Week Book Fair vendors include Asian American Curriculum Project, Chin Music Press, Heritage Source, Steven G. Doi Books, and Yabitoon Books.
