Taylor was an extraordinary American who dedicated herself to teaching Japanese children, living her dream right up to the events of March 11, 2011. Through interviews with her friends and family, this film traces her life in Japan and the dedication she held toward her host culture and its people. Live Your Dream is about hope and the future. Please join us in celebrating and honoring Taylor's life, as well as recognizing all others who have been affected by the Tohoku earthquake and tsunami. Prior to viewing Live Your Dream, a short documentary highlighting multi-cultural communities impacted by 3/11 will be shown. Live Your Dream will then be introduced by one of Taylor's friends featured in the film. Light refreshments will be served following the films.
