Dr Marjorie Kagawa-Singer of UCLA will speak at Gardena Valley Japanese Cultural Insitute on Saturday, Mar 2, 1-2:30 pm on "Health Issues in the Japanese American Community - Where we have been/Where we are today - What you can do about your health." Topics to be included: differences in health conditions of Issei, Nisei, Snsei and those living in Japan; reasons for the differences; suggestions to promote good health.Program co-sponsored by GVJCI, Japanese American Historical Society of So Cal and Keiro Institute for Healthy Aging.

The program will be held in the JCI Hall in the main building.  Basement of 2-story building. Free parking on the lot and on the street.  Free and open to the public
