Canadian Travelling Cloth Letter "Kids for Kids" project

Date: July 13, 2011 – July 14, 2011



This is an initiative by Vancouver, B.C. Sansei artist and filmmaker Linda Ohama with contributions by teachers and their students from all across Canada.  This 'cloth letter' is composed of cloth squares that have messages of hope that Canadian kids are sending Japanese kids who are in the disaster area that was affected by the earthquake and tsunami of March 11. There will be two of these letters that will be touring around Tohoku and other areas of Japan starting on July 1st, Canada Day.
