I have had the privilege of hearing Terukina-sensei perform. With just his voice alone, he brought an entire room to a standstill and I got goosebumps on my arms. . .

It's rare we get to see Kumiudui in Hawaii.  If we do, it's usually only parts of the opera.  This time, Terukina sensei wants to showcase the classical Ryukuan opera, Nidou Tichiuchi - The Revenge of Two Brothers.  It will feature an all male cast - graduates from the performing and fine arts university in Okinawa.  So not only do we get treated to a kumiudui, but one done with a cast of high caliber!
