XV Pan-American Nikkei Convention Uruguay 2009

The 15th edition of the Pan-American Nikkei Convention (COPANI) will be held in Montevideo, Uruguay, from September 17 to 19. Under the motto "The Nikkei in a globalized world", the organizers have scheduled, among other activities: "Talks and debate", "city tour", "Golf tournament" and various working tables prepared: "Lawyers", "Japanese Culture and Language Teaching", "Japanese Immigration", "Commerce and Business" and "Young Nikkei". COPANI 2009 is organized by the Japanese Association in Uruguay and the APN Uruguay Branch and is sponsored by the Pan-American Nikkei Association (APN). Nikkei from Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, Paraguay, Peru, Uruguay, the United States and Venezuela are expected to participate.
